ADOPTION AGREEMENT

Your puppy is guaranteed to be in good health at pickup day. Pup wellness exam and 1st vaccine series are scheduled around there 8 wks of life & within the week of pickup (3 parvo/distemper vaccines are required in order to be fully protected) All pups after pickup should not touch the ground where any other animal has been in case of contracting parvo till all vaccine series are complete. Breeder will not sell a parvo puppy so it is important to see a vet within 3 days to confirm good health.

All pups come from genetically tested parents with no known health issues.  In order for your health guarantee to be valid, you must purchase puppy health insurance before your 1st vet visit ( some resources: lemonade pet insurance, akc insurance, embrace and hannah pet hospital) and you must take your puppy to a veterinarian within 3 days of pickup to ensure good health.
This health guarantee is intended to cover ONLY death due to DCM of a puppy within the 1st month of your ownership. Toy breeds are more prone to DCM . Parents have been tested on the genetic panels as clear, but there is always a chance that a pup may have that condition if there little bodies do not develop as they should. T
esting for DCM in your pup is at your own expense, and not the breeders. If diagnosed with DCM a letter from licensed vet as well as Xray/ultrasound is required in order to receive a future pup of equal value if available. [ Refunds are never given unless under special circumstances. ] If no pups are available then your name would go on the next waitlist for that same breed and same value of pup. If all females of that breed leave the breeding program, then a refund will be given. Breeder is not responsible for personal or family therapy, time off work compensation due to mourning, any or all vet expenses, travel expenses, vacation cancelations or any other expenses related to the loss of the puppy.

Health guarantee does not cover any other conditions that toy breeds may be prone to, so it is important to purchase health insurance in case any issues arise. Please do your research on any issues that toy breeds/toy poodles may have before submitting adoption application.

We have done our research on the toy poodle breed before becoming a small hobby breeder, and have found that they are a reliable breed with fewer health issues than many other breeds.

We do not make any guarantee on size, color, temperament, breeding/show quality. We do our best to estimate the color, temperament, adult weight of a pup based on parents size, previous litters, bone structure etc. Colors may change as pups get older, they get more sun exposure, or fur gets shaved short. Buyer is aware that tiny dogs are more prone to luxating patellas, spine issues, cddy and Hypoglycemia. Statistics show that 90% of toy poodles carry 1 or 2 variants of cddy (short leg chromasome) but chances of the occurrence of IVDD are very rare. Pups wearing holters instead of collars for walks can help with any back issues. Hypoglycemia is 100% preventable with proper hydration and electrolytes, if needed. Research "signs for hypoglycemia" and how to treat low sugar levels, should they drop. Umbilical Hernias are common in puppies and usually disappear by 6 months of age. They develop when the umbilical cord is cut too close to the abdomen by the mom at birth. Also, it is ideal to NOT wash puppy ears till they are older, not drying ears may cause a yeast infection. Pups get dewormed with Nemex-2 at 2,4,6,8 wks of pick up and their mothers get dewormed 2 wks after birth. If puppy does have wormers after a vet exam then it may mean that pup needs another round of dewormer. Worms are common and some pups may need more dewormer treatments than others.

Pups are alot of work and do require alot of care within there 1st year of life. Your time and efforts spent on your pup will be rewarded with better behavior.   Incase your  pup was not what you expected, and you are not able to keep him/her then the breeder is happy to accept the pup back with No refunds. If the breeder has no time to accept the pup at that time due to personal demands, then it is buyers responsibility to find the pup a safe home. It is recommended to try to find your pup a home first before involving breeder.

No pups are sold with breeding rights! If you are purchasing this puppy for the purpose of breeding then the health guarantee is VOID and lawsuits may be put into action if puppies are found for sale. Pups should be spayed/neutered at 6 months or when your vet recommends.  Email a copy of spay/neuter surgery record to pacificnwlife@yahoo.com.   Buyer assumes all responsibility and liability for the care and condition of the puppy once it has left our premises.  Any conditions caused by accidents or neglect will void any health guarantees, such as not being mindful of parvo infested areas, avoiding vet visits & vaccines, avoiding grooming's & dental care, giving recalled food/treats and not maintaining healthy weight )

Due to breeders family privacy, we do not do in home pet visits at this time, all pickups/meet ups are in a public location of breeders choosing.

By purchasing from PacificNWPups, you are accepting all of pacificNWpups terms of condition and adoption agreement on this page.
